In March of 2009, I began searching for ways to produce income for my family. My background included printing and bindery work, graphic design and some web development. While my knowledge in web programming languages were limited, I was determined to not let that be a hindrance.

So, at the age of 33, I sat down and taught my HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL, allowing me to combine my past experiences of designing with my new knowledge of web programming.

In the beginning, most of my work was performed after my children went to bed, which they were all calmed and out finally around nine o'clock. Thus, the name Past 9 Designs seemed appropriate for my company.

Since conception of the company, I have had the pleasure of working with several clients. I enjoy the process of discovering the client's needs, designing a site to accomplish their goals, and developing the site from an idea to a full blown, functional website.
